  • What states do you work in?
  • Prime Polymers travels from coast to coast. We are a National “turnkey” installer.
  • Could I buy the material from you?
  • No, our material requires training and it is not designed for DIY.
  • Would you do my residential garage or basement floor?
  • No, our material is designed for industrial applications.
  • Do you work weekends or holidays?
  • We work when it is convenient for our customers.  Weekends and holidays are just part of our normal daily business. We do not charge extra for weekend work.
  • When would the floor be ready for full use?
  • Depending on the temperature of the facility it is normally 24 hours.
  • What are your requirements prior to arrival?
  • We require a sufficient power source, heat, lighting, forklift for use, and a dumpster for non-hazardous waste. We would also need a staging area that is not part of the installed system for mixing and setup.
  • Will it be very dusty during the installation?
  • Our equipment will contain most of the dust. Although we take precautions when possible, it is not totally dust free. We take every precaution to keep dust to a minimum.
  • How much does it cost?
  • Depending upon the square footage and overall condition of the floor, each job is priced according to the system required. There are many factors that determine the overall price.
  • How long does a typical installation take?
  • On average it should take about 3 days for a typical coating system and 4 days for a mortar system. Based on 10,000 sf. or less.
  • Will the floor be slippery?
  • Each customer can select their own degree of non-slip, depending upon the conditions of their facility.
  • What is the normal preparation process of a floor coating?
  • A typical situation would be to: Shot blast or diamond grind the floor, prime with pigmented primer, apply basecoat/mid coat of epoxy, and top-coat witha urethane.
